Health and Safety Lead
Originally from Portadown, Northern Ireland, Nathan made the move to Tauranga in 2007. Before joining Fitout Solutions, he spent eight years as a primary school teacher — a career that sharpened his problem-solving instincts and his ability to communicate clearly under pressure.
Nathan’s knack for all things IT saw him step into a Systems Administrator role, and his natural curiosity and adaptability have since taken him further. He has evolved into the company’s Health and Safety Lead, where he oversees systems and documentation, conducts site inspections, and works to identify and manage key risks across our projects.
Whether he’s untangling a technical challenge or making sure everyone goes home safe, Nathan brings the same diligence and good humour to everything he does — and remains a genuine pleasure to have in the team.
